Best standalone CRM app

Ive been using Contact Journal for several days - Im very happy. It does what I need simply and effectively. Ive combined it with WorldCard for scanning business cards into contacts. Had 1 issue with attaching documents - customer service helped fix the issue the same day. Turns out its an iOS issue - not a problem with the app.

My wish list for improvements:

1) make the synchronization of the iPad and iPhone versions work in the background (instead of batch synchs though Dropbox).

2) add separate options for "to dos" (that integrate with iOS "to dos") and appointments that integrate with the calendar.

3) a desktop version would be a nice-to-have
